An initiative from Tie The Knot and the ACLU featuring Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family) and George Takei that allows those of us who give a shit about human rights to actually donate money by simply using 💩 emojis.
The Give-A-Shit campaign was created in response to President Trump and his administration’s attacks on the LGBTQ community. For every “shit” you give we turned that into actual money donated through Facebook Messenger and Paypal.
We launched the campaign with at our press event and party at The Tie Bar’s pop up shop on Christopher St. in New York City during the 50th anniversary of WorldPride.
The above film led people to Facebook Messenger and the Give a Shit For Good site where they could donate.
